We want you to feel at home.

What we’re about

As a couple, we (Tim and Jenny Robinson) have always wanted a place to invite people into and make them feel at home. For the last 30+ years, while raising our six kids, that place was around our dining room table. In 2022 we opened Gran Robbie’s in Ansted, and our dining room got bigger.

When we assess what we’re doing and why, we realize that most of our goals are intangibles. Of course we want to make enough money to compensate us for our efforts. And we want to serve delicious food and drinks. But, really, what we want is for Gran Robbie’s to be an embracing place for people to gather. Where we know what our regulars are likely to order, what they’re wearing to prom, or when their grandkids are coming to visit. We want tourists to feel like they’re visiting friends. We want relationships to grow and memories to be made. We want to be a place where people feel safe to stop by when they’re hurting and need to be heard or celebrating and want to be seen. We want laughter and inside jokes and Santa on The Porch and cooking classes and Halloween costume parties and live music and local art…

It’s really quite a lot to ask of a simple coffee shop/cafe. But it’s happening.

“We got coffee and breakfast here every morning during our stay in Ansted. Even if you are staying in Fayetteville to see the National Park, you should make the 20 minute drive out here.

The owners are so kind and helpful with local knowledge. My husband fell in love with their unicorn latte. The croissant french toast was the best I've ever had. The breakfast rice was top notch too! If this place were home, I'd go broke!”
